After playing with my camera some yesterday and having wished I'd taken a journal with me into Killarney I have decided to undertake a bit of a challenge to help me both get back into journaling and help me learn more about photography (not to mention being somewhat inspired by a friend who recently undertook a similar challenge). So, what I am going to challenge myself to is blog daily and in each blog I will try to include a picture that reflects some part of my day. I'm also hoping this will help me keep my friends and family and other readers more up to date on what's going on in my life too. But I would also love to have feedback as I go along - both to encourage me to keep going, to update me on what's going on in your life too, to give me any comments or suggestions to help me improve my photography skills........ you get the point I think. So this reflection and decision actually took place yesterday, so this is kind of yesterday's post and hence I will include a picture from yesterday. Later today I'll do a post for today.

Josh getting tired of being my model.
The stump of a tree that had been hit by lightning during one of the many storms we had this summer.
So I couldn't pick just one.... These were both taken on my walk with Josh along the rail trail as I decided to do this challenge. I was taking a whole whack load of pictures with all different settings to try and get a better feel for my camera.
