Well, I missed my blog yesterday... it was quite a day really. I got home, put together a funeral service, wrote up a verbatim, planned a 10 min reflection time for the spiritual care staff, and then went to bed.... and it was already midnight. So needless to say I wasn't exactly feeling up to writing up a blog. Today on the other hand, the whole day has been a big rush. It began with watching the sunrise as I packed my lunch for the day and will end very shortly with some reading in bed before I crash. Between these two points I lead my first funeral service... or memorial service if you want to be technical. I think it went pretty good. I think I would be willing to do another one, but I'm in no rush... I've seen three deaths this week, so I wouldn't mind a slow down.
