Putting my dad's boat in the river Saturday morning.
Once we put the boat in the water we went exploring and took a trip up the river to Huntsville and met some family up there. We saw this blue heron along the way. Such a graceful looking bird.
Josh and my Dad spent a fair bit of time fishing together....
.... and trying to fix my uncle's whipper-snipper.

Sunday afternoon we went for another boat trip, but this time we headed down river and we happened along this moose who allowed us to take a whole bunch of pictures. We were so close I didn't even need to use all 15x optical zoom my camera offers!
We teased Josh all weekend that the underwater hazards that this sign referred to were the numerous hooks he lost off the end of this dock... it seemed like every time he cast off that dock he lost another hook!
Overall, it was a nice relaxing weekend!
