A New Perspective

Ever stand on the roof top of a hospital and look out over the city you live in? It was a neat experience, and gave me a whole new perspective to Hamilton. I guess in someways the change in perspective I received when I took this picture sort of parallels the change in perspective I'm beginning to experience in my chaplaincy residency (or my sabbatical as I'm beginning to think of it). It's not the same as the unit I did in St. Catharine's earlier this summer. In fact, it's very different despite being very much the same. It's like looking at the same subject, the same type of experiences, from a different perspective and getting to learn about it all over again. Change is good.
