I started my residency at St. Joe's Hamilton today... a whole year of chaplaincy with 5 other students and three supervisors. It was a long day and it's 9:54 now and it's the first time I've just sat down with nothing to do all day. As a result of feeling tired, I'll give you the long weekend update tomorrow, as well as add the picture for today. But what I will leave you with tonight is a bit from the reflection we began with this morning. The day began with a short reflection on community, and how we cannot know ourself outside of community. Without others to interact with we can only partly know who we are; we need community to truly know who we are. Interesting thought.
