Summer so far

I’ve officially had one whole week of summer so far, so I figured it was about time to summarize all that has happened so far. Josh and I went camping at the pinary (much fun), then after spending a day back in Hamilton we headed up to Chatsworth to spend the weekend with Josh’s Family. In the short interlude between camping and leaving for Chatsworth Josh and I both were able to check our grades, which we were both quite happy with… I got an A- on my thesis and Josh not only passed his 4A0 project, but he actually did well in the course. And we both managed to pull up our averages with no courses below an 8. I also, after a whole two weeks of waiting, officially found out that I’ve been accepted at Mac Div College to do a Masters of Divinity this coming fall, which is super exciting!!! I can’t wait to get my info package in the mail! As for traveling up to Chatsworth, we arrived just in time for Friday night youth group. While up there I went to my second buck and doe. It was a little disappointing cause the DJ hardly played any country music, or any music that you could actually dance to. Then Sunday after church Josh and I headed up to his families cottage in Red Bay where we mostly caught up on some much needed sleep and enjoyed the beautiful weather (save for the black flies) and picked fiddle heads. On Monday we had dinner with my parents in Mississauga then helped my sister move her furniture into her new student house. And that brings us to today.

Still no jobs for either of us … we’ll prolly be spending tomorrow doing the resume thing again. But at least I can officially now look forward to school in the fall!
