Switching Gears

Well I’m back from camping again, and it’s time to switch gears. Some time ago my mum sent me an email about this opportunity for three “youth” from Ontario to go to this conference call Springforth in New Brunswick (and that’s about all the information I got). The deadline for applications was the next day, and feeling God calling me, I managed to pull together a completed application and a letter of reference from my pastor in Mississauga (still not really sure how that happened, but God certainly can do amazing things). A couple of weeks later, I received an email saying that I was selected and they would send me more info later. Today, after returning from another amazing camping trip (Bruce Peninsula National Park) I come home to another my more information email stating that we leave on Thursday and will be back Saturday night, and that’s it. So this Thursday I will be flying to New Brunswick with two other “youth” and Luz to a conference. Up till now I’ve just been very laid back about it, but I feel like I should be preparing for something big. I have no idea how I will be serving while I’m there, but I do know that I will be expected to serve in some way. Please pray that God will prepare me for the work he has planned, and that the conference would be a success. I’ll let you know what it was all about when I get back, cause I’ve honestly told you everything I know up to now.

WOW! thats soo exciting. I will be praying for you. Hope you have a great time. Remember, you're there on God's invitation, and it doesn't matter what you do for the conference, its what you do for God. I'm not sure why I thought of that, but I did. God Bless, my Friend. I'm inspired by your willingness to get up and go on a moments notice.
