Josh and I have now been in our new (to us) house for a month less a day, and we've been working really hard to make it feel more like our own. Josh has taken to the outdoors (typical for him) and has begun working in the gardens. He was out on the first week end of March digging up a veggie garden in our back yard (and planted it too... hopefully all the cold and wet wont be too bad for the seeds).
Meanwhile I've been pushing ahead inside and bringing colour to our new world!!
This is me doing the priming after all our prep work was done (and also teaching Josh a bit about focus on a dSLR!).
In case you don't remember this is what our living room looked like when we moved in (aka the before shot)
And here it is all put together and painted a lovely shade of green!!! I've always wanted a green living room, and now I have one (insert really big smile here!).
Meeka has also been adjusting to our new house... suddenly we have windows she can actually see out of (and I'm constantly cleaning nose prints off of them)!
