Rememberance Day (a few days late)

On remembrance day I read this article in the Hamilton Spectator by the editor which was really reflective and nice and a typical remembrance day type reflection, but there was one sentence in it that really stood out to me: "it seems we have not yet experienced the war to end all wars." I thought, what a stupid concept.... war to end all wars... when is violence ever going to bring an end to violence..... only peace can bring end to war. No wonder our world seems so confused some times....
