Well, my attitude for school has finally changed... after spending more time this semester complaining and trying to avoid school and assignments as much as possible, over reading week my love for school was rekindled. Ironically it was through doing an Old Testament time line assignment which I had been absolutely dreading cause it's always such a huge assignment and it just takes so much time. But somehow I nearly finished the assignment a week early, and then got my next assignment completely finished with a whole day to spare. The feeling of being on top of my work is remarkably rewarding.
As for preaching the other sunday, it went well I'm told (I really find it hard to gage for myself). I received lots of glowing comments, and just about every other person who I talked to also told me I need to slow down... appearently I talk a little fast when I'm nervous... but it's something I can work on.
Kenya update - I'm even more excited ever since I attended an information type meeting at CBM (Canadian Baptist Ministries; the people who are sending the team of us) and I can hardly wait to start the readings and pack my bags! I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to have such a wonderful opportunity!!
Well, that's about all the updates I can think of. Life is good, God is Good.
