Give Us a King

I spent last week taking this intensive summer course from Mac Div entitled Give Us a King: a reading of 1 Samuel, and it was amazing. We started at verse one and read through the book through the week, and I’ve never realized how much good stuff is packed within those chapters. The prof, Keith Bodner of ABU, was absolutely amazing... I wish I could take another course with him!! But now that the in class portion of the class is finished, I find myself struggling to get going with the actual work. I have a take home due this Friday, and I pretty much know what I’m going to write, but I just can't motivate myself to get it done. So here I am, writing in my blog hoping that the act of writing something will move me in the right direction. And I also wanted to recommend that if any one ever has the opportunity to take a course with Keith Bodner, TAKE IT!!!
