A Very Brief update

I’ve sat down to write this blog many times over the past few weeks, but have found myself incapable of writing anything. I have been really busy over the past few weeks, as Josh and I have fallen back on our absolute last resort summer jobs, painting, and have as a result been traveling extensively in Chatsworth and Mississauga areas lining up work. We’ve also gone on yet another camping trip, this time we did a three-day hike on the Bruce trail up near Chatsworth. It was a wonderful, yet hard trip, with lots of beautiful scenery and millions of flying bugs – mosquito season is fully under way! I’ve also been making a bit more of an effort to meet up with old friends, thanks to coffee nights at Tim Hortons and breakfast at Cora’s. I’ve also begun preparing for my M. Div. in the fall. I’ve been working towards finding my field placement and I really feel that God is leading me towards working in a nursing home type environment doing small groups and bible study’s and doing pastoral visitations and lots more. This is kind of a very different direction than I had initially anticipated, but where God will lead, I will follow.
