Taiwan: Day 3

For whatever reason we decided to spend out third day at the Zoo.

And although it started out sunny.....

... it poured!!!!

Notice the elephants hiding under their shelter trying to stay out of the rain?

The rain however seemed to get the animals moving cause as it let up they would all come back out of their shelters, and then when the rain started up again the would hurry back to try and keep dry.

Unlike the Toronto zoo, many of the sheltered areas were right near the viewing spots, hence you still got to watch the animals as you too tried to find shelter from the rain.

These guys were especially active!  I've never seen rhinos running around and playing with one another before.  It was probably the highlight of the zoo.

That or watching these too monkey's looking at one another!
(ok, the one on the left is a gorilla)

Ha ha, nice. My father always says that we are the ones in display for the animals, not the other way around.

Josh says, I was pretty glad there was something between us, I felt like it could have ripped me in two!
